Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

This policy covers the fihansystems.com website only — the pages you are browsing right now. It does not cover any product, API or customer deployment of Fihan Edge or Interocept, which are governed separately by the agreement we put in place with each customer.

What we collect

This site does not use cookies, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or advertising identifiers of any kind. We do not build a profile of visitors and we do not sell data, because we do not have any to sell. The only information we receive is what you choose to send us:

• Contact form submissions — name, email address, organisation, the topic you selected and your message, submitted through the contact form.
• Direct email — anything you send to hkboateng@fihansystems.com carries whatever your email provider normally attaches to a message.
• Standard web server logs — this site is served as static files behind a Caddy web server on Hetzner Cloud. Like essentially every web server, Caddy logs the requesting IP address, user agent and timestamp for each request, for operational and security purposes (diagnosing outages, spotting abuse). We do not process these logs for any other purpose.

How the contact form works

The contact form is designed to submit through Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service that forwards your submission to our inbox by email and does not otherwise use, share or resell it. Until that integration is fully configured on our end, submitting the form instead opens your own email client with the message pre-filled — in that case, nothing you typed passes through our servers or any third party at all; you send it directly, the same as any other email.

How we use what you send us

We use contact and email submissions solely to respond to you — to answer a question, schedule a briefing, or follow up on an inquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list, share your information with advertisers, or use it to train any model.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the business relationship it relates to, and delete it on request. Web server logs are rotated on a routine schedule rather than kept indefinitely.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email hkboateng@fihansystems.com and we will respond personally. If you are located somewhere that gives you specific statutory rights over your personal data (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or a U.S. state privacy law), we will honour the request under that law rather than making you cite it correctly.

Children

This site is directed at businesses and professional organisations. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. We will not make a material change to how existing data is used without a clear notice on this page.
